Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation (BSFF) completed a major study on SHRIMP AQUACULTURE REFORM IN BANGLADESH with support from THE BRITISH COUNCIL under its PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE FOR ACCOUNTABLE SYSTEMS (PROKAS) Program.

The study was undertaken to carry out a comprehensive study on various ground realities about production relations, actual production processes, conditions of workers and various aspects of processing of shrimp products in Bangladesh.

A validation workshop was held to finalize the recommendations of the study in Dhaka on 28th August, 2017.

Syed Mahmudul Huq, Chairman of BSFF presided over the proceedings of the validation workshop which was attended by cross section of experts including Mr. Shawkat Ali Waresi, Deputy Team Leader of PROKAS Program, professionals in the sectors, academics and Senior Government Officials.
